Speaker: Marijo Martinec, Executive Director and CEO of Food Bank of Northern Indiana.
Biography: Marijo Martinec provides vision and leadership to ensure the Food Bank’s programs and resources reach as many hungry neighbors as possible throughout northern Indiana.
Martinec joined the Food Bank in 2010 and held various positions in the organization including Marketing and Events Coordinator, Director of Community Impact and Associate Executive Director. She was named to her current position in September 2018.
Prior to food banking, Martinec worked in tourism for the South Bend/Mishawaka Convention and Visitors Bureau and Studebaker National Museum.
Martinec earned a Bachelor of Arts in Television and Radio Communications from Indiana University, Bloomington, and a Masters in Non-Profit Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
