Lunch with the League: Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Joseph County: Serving Our Local Youth

Lety Stanton-Verduzco is Director of Mission Integration for the Boys & Girls Clubs of St. Joseph County.

 

Lety will share what the Clubs are currently doing to serve the youth of St. Joseph County as well as their vision for a community where youth are loved, safe and thriving.

 

Speaker's Bio:

In her role, Lety oversees programming across the entire organization, which includes 27 sites for the upcoming school year. Lety previously served as a Unit Director with the Boys & Girls Club and was certified to be a National Trainer for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Prior to her most recent role, Lety spent three years as the Recruiter/Trainer for the CASA Program of St. Joseph County, helping to train community volunteers to advocate on behalf of abused and neglected children.

 

She is originally from Gary, IN, but received her BA in Creative Writing from Saint Mary's College in 2004 and has remained in the Michiana area ever since. Her wife Cecilia is a high school teacher for SBCSC and they have a son, Samuel who just completed his second year of college at DePaul University in Chicago.
