Julie Olson-Tobias (she/her/hers), Director of the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC), will give an overview of the services available through the Community Action Program, Area Agency on Aging, and Alzheimer’s and Dementia Services of Northern Indiana.
Speaker's bio: Julie earned a BA in Sociology from Taylor University, Upland, Indiana and is a Certified Memory Care Professional through the Institute for Excellence in Memory Care. Julie is currently attending Bethel University to earn a MA in Organizational Leadership. Julie is currently the Director of REAL Services’ Aging and Disability Resource Center. Previous opportunities have included leading care management Intake and the Adult Guardianship Services programs at REAL Services. Julie also served at the Indiana Division of Family Resources both in a Case Manager role and as a Quality Assurance Analyst. Julie’s career has been focused on serving vulnerable populations - individuals needing public assistance for Food Stamps and health insurance, individuals who have become incapacitated because of the effects of dementia, and individuals who need an advocate to ensure they receive the appropriate assistance through community resources
