Mr. McPherson will provide an overview of the VA healthcare system and discuss:

- Structure and services of the Northern Indiana VA Healthcare System
- Available benefits and how to enroll
- Additional insights on how federal shutdowns impact local veterans and the services they rely on
About the Speaker:
Dale McPherson brings over three decades of distinguished military service to his current role at the VA. A retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Signal Corps, Dale served in multiple global operations including Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan), Kosovo, and a year-long deployment in South Korea. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology from South Dakota State University and a Master of Arts in Information Technology Management from Webster University. Since joining the Northern Indiana VA Healthcare System, Dale has held several key positions—from processing ambulance claims to supervising logistics—and now serves as both the Eligibility and Enrollment Coordinator and Outreach Coordinator.
