Our speaker is Amanda Miller Kelley, President and General Manager of PBS Michiana- WNIT
Amanda will discuss the vital role of PBS and its member stations in bringing quality, educational programming to communities across the nation. Learn how PBS continues to serve viewers with engaging, thoughtful, and accessible programming that shapes culture, informs citizens, and fosters a sense of connection. Amanda will pay special attention to the role PBS Michiana – WNIT plays in connecting viewers with free high-quality national programming, producing innovative local programming, telling local stories, and preserving the history of local communities.
Speaker’s Bio: Amanda Miller Kelley is President and General Manager of PBS Michiana – a public television station serving over 1.2 million viewers in 17 Indiana and 5 Michigan counties across Michiana. Amanda assumed the role of General Manager in January 2025. Prior to that, she served as Director of Development and Philanthropic Gifts Officer at the station. She has spent the last 17 years working in fundraising, community relations, and marketing. To date, she has raised more than $14M for nonprofits, including Ivy Tech Community College South Bend-Elkhart, national nonprofit Brooke USA Foundation, and The History Museum in South Bend. Amanda holds degrees in sociology and English from Northwestern University and a certification in Executive Fund Development from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame. She is a native of South Bend, Indiana, and lives in Buchanan with her husband and two children.
