The speaker for the October Lunch with the League will be Chuck Leone, a member of the St. Joseph County Election Board. After our September speaker on voter registration, we’re following up with all the details of how elections are planned and carried out.
The St. Joseph County Election Board oversees and administers elections in St. Joseph County including qualification of and challenges to candidates, coordination and staffing of locations for early and Election Day voting, certification of voting equipment, processing and tallying of ballots, and certification of election results. Board member Chuck Leone will explain its roles and functions, and how the local election process produces our elected officials.
