Synopsis: How to work with small, minority-owned, and women-owned business to overcome barriers and succeed in business.

 

Speaker’s Bio:

Paula Sours is the proud owner of Visions GPS Branding, LLC - An Indiana WBE certified business that provides expert consulting services to prime contractors and subcontractors and specializes in comprehensive branding and marketing strategies.

 

Paula's goal is to grow her business and help other businesses grow with her. She wants entrepreneurs just starting out to know that no matter where they come from, they can be successful. Working in the marketing industry for over 30 years, Paula brings to the table a wealth of knowledge about what it takes to run a company, grown her business from the ground up, creating and learning as she grew. She thinks outside the box to seek for the right solutions for her clients.

Paula has expertise in the areas of branding, marketing, promotions, and community outreach and engagement. She is known for:

• Networking to build and foster long-term business relationships.

• Developing innovative promotions and positive media relations to increase brand and product awareness and interest. 

• Facilitating strategies with other departments to support donor education and recruitment initiatives.

• Working with our community and getting to know and grow with them.

Her greatest joy in operating small business and helping upcoming business owners is being able to see the look on their faces when they accomplish their goals. Dedicated to community improvement, Paula and her husband started Shield Faith over 20 years ago where they provide clothing, food, music once a month in the community.

In her talk, Paula will highlight her story, business goals, tips, and successes, and community engagement work, before taking audience questions.
