Because Democracy is Not a Spectator Sport!<br /><br />Wednesday, June 29, Howard Park<br /><br />Talk at 7:00 • Walk at 6:30 p.m. or Whenever You Want<br /><br />Take a walk along the beautiful St. Joe River near downtown South Bend, then join us at Howard Park Public House for an informal discussion of the podcast, “United States of Anxiety: A History of Voter Suppression.” Dr. Elizabeth Bennion, LWV Voter Services Chair, will guide the discussion.<br /><br />Come with a friend or just meet up at the riverfront down the lawn from the Public House about 6:20 p.m.<br /><br />If you begin your walk by about 6:20 to 6:30 p.m., you can listen to the 23-minute podcast before gathering at the Public House. Don’t wish to walk? Listen to the podcast anytime, then join us at the Public House at 7:00pm.<br /><br />This is an informal meetup but we do ask you to RSVP so that we can reserve space at the Public House.
